Pat McGrath & Gucci Westman

Pat McGrath- Pat McGrath is a British makeup artist she was born in 1970 in Northampton. Pat has never had any form of makeup training and now she is one of the biggest makeup artist in the industry. She does a lot of work for catwalk shows, advertising campaigns and editorial shoots for the world's biggest fashion houses and publications. McGrath has attributed her creativity to her mother, a devoted Jehovah's Witness who was a keen follower of fashion and would quiz the young Pat on the different shades of eye shadow. "She trained me, basically, to do the shows, right there... look at the pattern, check the fabrics, look for the make-up - and begin," (vogue:2007) She found herself constantly trying to find colours that suited black skin and she was always mixing colours as there was never makeup that was for dark skin. Pats work is amazing she is very unique and adventurous with the bold colours and textures. She has worked with some amazing well known brands such as Calvin Klein, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Vogue, Prada and many more. She has become that successful in the industry she has even made her own cosmetic line and its been raved about in the makeup industry.

Gucci Westman- Gucci Westman was born in California and raised in Sweden she used to study languages and now she's one of the worlds top Makeup artists in the industry thats a regular face to Vogue and now the global artist director for Revlon. She’s painted the faces of celebrities like Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Taylor Swift, Cameron Diaz. She’s also behind cover looks for Vanity Fair, Vogue, W, Bazaar, and collaborated with photographers like Annie Leibovitz, Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Testino, and Peter Lindbergh, and created runway beauty looks for everyone from Proenza Schouler to Vera Wang. It’s safe to say that Westman’s earned fashion-legend. Her Career started when she was 23 she had such a passion for makeup but she didn't know if she could change her passion into a reality. So she went to a Makeup school in Paris Ecole de Maquillage Christian Chauveau. Gucci's first big break was when she done an Italian shoot for Vogue whilst doing this she had just met Cameron Diaz and she asked Gucci for some other work opportunities and that carried on for 7 months. After this it really boosted her confidence and she started developing relationships with celebrities and working her way up the ladder. She's worked with all different celebs such as Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian, Cameron Diaz, and Nicole Kidman.
