Ageing With Liquid Latex
Ageing is usually used for films, theatre and TV using latex to the skin it creates a wrinkly texture that looks like your skin has aged.
If you was to age your hand you will need to take your concealer or eyeshadow and contour the bones and the knuckles of the hand this is just to make your skin look more aged as you can see the bones on someones hand thats aged quite a lot.
You will want to stretch out your hand so your stretching your own skin either stretch your hand very flat or make a fist. Wrinkles will pull the opposite way of the angle you are stretching the skin. For example, if you stretch the skin vertically, horizontal wrinkles will form. You will often want to create layers of wrinkles going both ways.
The next step is to apply the latex you need to use a sponge and stipple on thin layers of the latex evenly all over the skin.
Using a hairdryer on a low heat slowly dry the latex ensuring that its not too hot to burn yourself and the latex can melt and ruin the look always make sure that you don't move your hand keep the skin stretched.
Once the latex has dried again using a clean sponge apply a layer of talc to the area if you don't have talc then you can use no colour powder. This is just to get rid of the tackiness that the latex can leave and give you a nice base for the next layers.
Keep repeating the stages of the latex and powder ensuring that you keep the hand stretched out. You can do as many layers as you like but around 5 layer will work depending on how wrinkly you would like your skin then you may apply as many as you like.
Once your happy with how many layers you have applied you can now release your hand and you will see how wrinkly the area is.
For any finishing touches you can add foundation or age spots to make the look more realistic.
