Strictly Come Dancing Theme Ideas

For my theme of strictly come dancing i have decided to do a Spanish flamenco dance.
I was stuck for ideas at first i was going to do ballroom dancing but i thought about the time i went to Puerto Rico there was Flamenco dancers and i loved it. The way they move the music and the outfits was just amazing.

I have been doing some research and i have watched some videos online to get some inspiration on makeup, the clothes and the dance moves to get inspiration for the poses i want my model to do whilst on the shoot.

For the outfit i want a traditional frilly Flamenco dress with the traditional colours Black, Yellow and Red. I want my model to look like a spanish flamenco dancer so i have chosen a model to have quite tanned skin as they do in spain. I think this will work well for me especially as i haven't got any mixed raced models in my portfolio so i think this will be a really good idea. So i can demonstrate that i can work on different skin types not just fair skinned models.

For hair i want to either put it in a side bun or have it down and wavy with a flower at the side of her hair like the dancers have. I want to make it resemble the dancers as much as i can.

Makeup

• Eyes- Brown smokey eye with gold
• Skin- flawless base, Very glowy, subtle contour
• Lips- Red glossy lip
• Eye brows-filled in the natural shape with slight definition
